Kia ora, welcome to Lepperton School.
We are a primary school in North Taranaki. We have a roll of around 160 students, from year 1 to year 6, with 8 classrooms.
At Lepperton we work hard to maintain our country school values, while preparing our students for the 21st century.
Tree Huts
The Year 6's have been busy building tree huts.  Students have had to put a proposal together and present it to Mr G to allow them to make huts.  This involved thinking about what they will learn from building tree huts (a lot of team work and compromise!), as well as thinking of any hazards involved and how to deal with them.  We look forward to seeing the finished huts!

Kaikoura Fundraiser
Well done to Skyla Harvey and Makayla Wells who organised a fundraiser for the Kaikoura community.  Kids dressed up in something starting with 'K' and donated a gold coin, raising $252.20.

Puanga Festival
We are very proud of our kapahaka group, who competed in the annual Puanga Festival last week in Waitara.  They placed third for the haka, third for the karanga and third for the female lead!  Check out the videos below of their performance.
